Baseball fans can’t believe the magic of the Braves in their 2-0 win over the Dodgers

The Atlanta Braves took a 2-0 lead over the NLCS after being knocked out by the Los Angeles Dodgers on the second night in a row.

Just when you thought nothing could beat the first game of the National League Championship series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves, game two happened on Sunday. And, like Saturday, it was the Braves who came out at the expense of the defending champions in the World Championships.

With a 4-4 tie at the bottom of the ninth, defensive back Eddie Rosario climbed to the board with Dansby Swanson at second base with two wins on the board. All he had to do was score a hit from the Dodgers, Kenley Jansen. Rosario did just that, hitting solo to the center of the field, allowing Swanson to score at home to take the 5-4 win.

Baseball fans shared their feelings for the Braves, who finished the season with a record 88-73, leading 2-0 in the series over the Dodgers.

The Braves take off for the second night in a row thanks to Eddie Rosario

Rosario’s single in the ninth round wasn’t his only advantage in Game Two. In the eighth inning, Rosario ran home from second base with a single by Ozzie Albies and narrowly got his hand on the board before the card by catcher Will Smith. To cut Atlanta’s deficit to 4-3.

Austin Riley, who played the champ with his single in Game 1, helped tie the game to the same inning with a double to center field, allowing Albus to touch the home plate.

The Dodgers might be on hole 0-2 to start the NLCS, but they’ve been in that position before. Let’s not forget that they had lost 0-2 to the Braves in the NLCS last year, but won the pennant in seven games. You can never count them, and Atlanta knows it firsthand.

The Braves will now be looking to bring that magic to Hollywood, as they face the Dodgers on their court in Game 3 on Tuesday.
