Brown fans ready to cut Baker Mayfield yesterday after ugly loss to SNF

Cleveland Browns fans are tired of quarterback Baker Mayfield playing against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Cleveland Browns needed a win Sunday night to make the race for the Northern League Football League truly competitive. Despite the ugliness of the game and the amount of turnover of the Baltimore Ravens, the Cleveland lost 16-10.

During and after the match, Browns fans expressed their displeasure with quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was far from his greatest match in Week 12.

Cleveland had everything working for them in Week 12, as Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson threw four brutal interceptions throughout the competition. Brown and Mayfield both had history on their side, with a quarterback never winning a game when he threw four interceptions since 2015. Now, the signal callers are 1-37 when multiple interceptions are thrown in a contest, thanks to Cleveland.

Talking about Jackson and Mayfield’s interceptions and Brown’s offense could only put three points on the board immediately after forcing four turnovers. It came on a 46-yard field goal by Chase McLaughlin.

Mayfield is still playing through a left shoulder injury he picked up earlier in the season, and it has affected him all season. On Sunday night, Mayfield completed 18 of 37 of his passes for 247 yards and one touchdown, which arrived on the 20-yard pass to knock out David Njoku in the third quarter.

Over the course of the year, Mayfield now scored 2,413 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 62.2 percent of his passes.

The Mayfield and Browns will use the upcoming farewell week to rest and prepare for their next competition. Their scheduled enemies for week 14? Baltimore Ravens again.
