Case Make: Five-star OT Julian Armella

Case Make: Five-star OT Julian Armella

A five-star offensive tackle Julian Armilla released him in the top four and it could be an interesting ride until the top St. Thomas Aquinas team in Fort Lauderdale (FL) makes their decision.

There are still some unknowns as Florida and LSU look to hire new coaches and that could change things once they hire staff in Baton Rouge and Gainesville.

LSU was considered an early favorite and Armilla’s father, Enzo, has links to so Orgeron. After it was announced that Orgeron would not hold the 2021 season, the Tigers remained competitive but perhaps not at the same height.

Armella is a Florida Legacy and has made numerous visits there over the past few months to get more comfortable with the coaching staff and mentor the program.

Alabama was also mentioned as a top team and it will be interesting to see where Crimson Tide falls as Armella’s recruitment fluctuates.

At Making the Case today, experts from across the Rivals network make a case for a particular school and then the National Recruiting Manager Adam Journey He makes his judgment about where he sees the end of Armila.

There has been a lot of common interest between Alabama and Armilla in the past few years. Armella made an official visit with Crimson Tide on November 5-7. The biggest question with Alabama at the moment is how many more attackers will it take in this class?

Alabama currently has three commitments on the offensive front and is likely to take another one. Four other soldiers made state visits to Alabama this fall including Kiyaunta Goodwin, Devon Campbell, Earnest Greene and Neto Umeozulu. Greene is coming on a great journey with Tide. Alabama has already ramped up its recruiting efforts with him.

Alabama has also been putting pressure on Goodwin and Campbell throughout the year. The chances of Armella joining the Alabama chapter seem unlikely. – Andrew Boone,

Armila won’t end up at the University of Florida. For one, it’s FSU’s legacy, and while kids constantly try to make it seem like it’s not a big deal every course, it does play a part in the decision-making process.

Second, Florida has no head coach or offensive line coach. The Gators just shot And Mullen On Sunday but one week before that they fired the offensive line coach John Hevesi. So not only does he know who is going to coach the team but he also doesn’t know who is going to coach it.

With a commitment that looks like he might get close to Armella, there’s almost no chance he’ll pull Chris McClellan and his commitment to a school without a head coach as well as his position coach. – Conner Clark,

There is a very good chance that Armilla will end up in Florida. He has developed an excellent relationship with his coach Alex Atkins and with mike Norville. Armella has also wanted to see improvement on the field from Florida State this season and has seen that at least in the past two weeks with wins over Miami and Boston College.

A win over Florida this weekend would be massive because the Gators is also one of his four finalists. The Five Star is not only a legacy at FSU, but he grew up cheering for Noles. The coaching positions at LSU and Florida are in flux and Alabama has other priorities up front, so all of this leads me to believe the Fifa is in a great place. — Michael Langston,

Armella had a presentation sheet featuring those in college football as the best all-around offensive tackle in the nation. He had LSU in his top four, and flirted seriously with the Tigers earlier in the fall and summer, but with so Orgeron On his way out, I’d be shocked to see Armella end up in Baton Rouge.

Armila’s father visited himself to meet the technical staff and there is a long relationship between them Enzo eyebolt and Orgeron. I would say that at one point LSU seemed to be the favourite, but as we approach the early signing period, that just isn’t the case anymore. – Julie Bowdoin,

Today’s choice will be Florida. There is a lot of uncertainty at Florida and LSU especially with the early signing period approaching the belief that Armella is leaning toward the Gators or Tigers at this time without a head coach or coach position in his place.

I was told that Alabama was interested in Armella but might have other goals as well so I don’t see that situation happening either.

Florida certainly isn’t a fallback option for him given that Armella has shown a serious interest in the program for so long and the coaching staff has not only made it a top priority, but has done an amazing job in management by hiring him to keep the Seminoles in high esteem. the list. It looks like it could pay off. – Adam Gurney, National Recruitment Manager for Rivals
