CeeDee Lamb is said to have knocked out Cowboys vs. Raiders on Thanksgiving

The Thanksgiving encounter with the Las Vegas Raiders just got a little more difficult for the Dallas Cowboys, as CeeDee Lamb won’t be able to match.

While Dallas Cowboys fans hoped CeeDee Lamb could remove the concussion protocol and file a lawsuit Thursday, that won’t be the case. Lamb injured himself in the loss to the Chiefs last weekend, suffering a concussion while intercepting Dak Prescott.

According to NFL insider Jay Glazer, Lamb has already been disqualified from his Week 12 showdown with Las Vegas. With Amary Cooper also sidelined by COVID protocols, Prescott will be without his two best weapons.

With both Cooper and Lamb out of the action, Michael Gallup will become Prescott’s first choice in the face of the Invaders. Cedric Wilson also saw more passes thrown his way, with the same saying for Dalton Schultz’s tight end.

At the same time, this might make the Cowboys rely a bit more on their running game as well. While Ezekiel Elliott is of course the backbone, Tony Pollard has seen more and more excitement as the season progresses. He could see an extended role opposite Las Vegas, too.

Entering this showdown, Dallas 7-3 in the season and the Raiders 5-5. Both teams came away with disappointing results on Sunday, with the Cowboys losing to the Chiefs in Kansas City and the Raiders falling to the Bengals at home.

Even with this late news about Lamb, Dallas is still a favorite over the Raiders to take the lead. We’ll see if Mike McCarthy’s men can get the job done and score their 8th win of the season.
