College football media reacts as Oklahoma State finally beat Oklahoma State in Bedlam

Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys finally got the best of Oklahoma in Bedlam and the college football media was promoted after a great game.

After the first half of Bedlam, it seemed like a very familiar song might start playing for fans of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Their elite defense allowed 33 points and they were behind against a team they had won only twice from their last 18 games as well as losing their last six.

But then the tide turned. Box’s defense appeared in the second half and Caleb Williams choked and quickly grounded the attack. Moreover, attacking Spencer Sanders and the Oklahoma State forward continued to move the ball well enough and take advantage of massive opportunities. Despite mistakes by both sides, it came to one final possession in which the Cowboys needed to stop.

In true bend and no-break fashion, they let the OU into the opponent’s area but forced the fourth loss and then came up with a massive sack to take the massive 37-33 win.

If they do get that win, they have a strong case for the College Football Playoff, a spot they’ve long tried to snatch from the Sooners’ clutches. They did a part of sending the OU with Bedlam’s terribly important win. The task now is to win another game and truly make the dream season come true.
