FSU Football vs Boston College: Notes, First Half Notes

Florida State Seminoles football battles the Boston College Eagles today at Chestnut Hill, seeking victory in their search for bowl eligibility.

Just like last week against Miami, the Seminoles found themselves with points early, as they took a 16-point lead in the first half, but failed to take full advantage of all the scoring opportunities. Sanctions were a problem, whether subjective or questionable on the part of the judging staff.

Jordan Travis is 11 of 17 for 154 yards and two touchdowns, while Jason Corbin leads the FSU with 41 yards on six buggies.

The Seminole defense was extinguished again, with the line of defense particularly visible. Jermaine Johnson continued his ways to dominate, while Keir Thomas had his fair share of QB rushing and changing interventions. Kalen DeLoach got a big hit to enforce the safety, giving the Seminoles two points plus a chance to drive and convert a field goal.
