FSU offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham gets emotional when he talks about his players
Florida State had a wild all-season run overall in 2021. Knowles started the season with a 0-4 lead but then when they were on a 3-0 winning streak. The Seminoles were very close to snapping up the upset in their season opener, but lost in overtime, then upset the following week at home from Hill Mary in Douak in September.
This team has seen a lot of ups and downs over the course of the season, but one thing stood out. The battle this team fought through matches. Players fought for each other, held each other accountable during play to avoid mistakes, and kept their heads high when going down in matches.

Where does this new culture come directly from? Mike Norville and coaching staff at the Seminoles. One of those coaches who helps inject that culture into the team is Kenny Dillingham, the offensive coordinator at Florida State.
Dillingham spoke at his latest press conference on Monday with the media and was emotional when he answered a question regarding seeing his team celebrate at Bobby Bowden Field after beating rival Miami in a sensational fashion.
“Yeah, I mean…a special, special group of guys. Stuck together and mom, yeah. I mean. He’s beautiful, so cool.”

You can definitely tell the sophomore offensive coordinator took a different hit when he talked about seeing how happy his team was after the big win that secured Miami’s four-game winning streak against Knowles.
It shows how much their players really love this training device. The coach was trying to hold back the tears but it wasn’t easy. Last week’s game against the Hurricanes and seeing his players so cheerful meant something very special to him.
