FSU vs Florida: The start time for the rivalry game has been announced
Kickoff assigned to Seminoles vs. Gators
After not playing in 2020 due to schedule changes related to COVID-19, Florida State football and the Florida Gators will renew their historic rivalry again on November 27.
The Gators started the year with high expectations, which rose after an impressive performance against Alabama, but faltered over the course of the season. Florida exited with a 70-52 win against Samford, a high-score case that saw the Gators track the Bulldogs with double digits at one point.
“We’re going to celebrate this win,” coach Dan Mullen said after the match. “It’s a fantastic win for us. We hope it builds some confidence for the guys who are going forward.”
“Describing the win as disappointing is disrespectful to the game.”
The last meeting between the two schools came in 2019, as the Seminoles faltered under coach Odell Huggins in a 40-17 loss.
The kick-off between the two schools was announced on Monday, with the match scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. and broadcast on ESPN.
