New York Giants offensive tackle Andrew Thomas earned a touchdown pass Monday night, and Peyton Manning loved it.
The New York Giants were looking to be the second NFC East team this season to defeat Super Bowl holders Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In order to do that, they would have to pull out all the stops.
After Adoree’ Jackson intercepted Tom Brady’s pass in the second quarter, the Giants tied things up 10 points each after quarterback Daniel Jones threw a touchdown pass to… left tackle Andrew Thomas! It was a huge man landing.
Finished on ManningCast, Peyton Manning nearly lost his mind while in the middle of an interview with actor and comedian Kevin Hart.
Andrew Thomas scores a big goal for the giants
Who doesn’t love landing a big guy?
This was a historic occasion for the Giants, as Thomas is the first attacking lineman to score a touchdown since Karl Vinma did so in 1948!
Last season, Thomas earned a pass in the end zone from Jones for a successful two-point conversion attempt against the Dallas Cowboys.
Thomas was just activated from the injured reserve on Monday after missing the past three games with an ankle injury. As evidenced by this landing reception, his ankle appears to be fine.
