Jets’ Zach Wilson performs a flawless self-infliction with a viral video of a young QB

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson appears to be having a good time on Twitter as the rookie works to recover from his injury.

The New York Jets were dealt a particularly hard blow when rookie quarterback Zach Wilson was sidelined with an injury in Week 7, but Wilson himself appears to be handling the recovery process well.

Wilson took to Twitter to have a little fun with some mild, self-critical humor on Wednesday night.

Wilson is clearly aware of their seemingly petty jokes and is willing to lean on them and have some fun with them.

Why not sit back and enjoy the humor?

New York Jets: Rising midfielder Zach Wilson has a good sense of humor about his recovery time

While Wilson focuses on his recovery, his team is in disarray. The Jets sit at 2-7 and have lost four of their last five games, including their last disappointing competition: a 45-17 loss against the Buffalo Bills.

As they face the Miami Dolphins at home on Sunday, planes are said to be flying to Joe Flacco, who isn’t exactly the elite’s choice to fill in for an injured Wilson. But there aren’t many other great options New York can trust right now.

Wilson was great when he was with the BYU Cougars and there was so much hope for his future. The Jets are far from a good team, but a lot of problems can be hidden when you have a good midfielder. The Jets shouldn’t be in a rush to speed up Wilson’s recovery, but perhaps they should be willing to give him the password to their Twitter account for a day or two while he rests.
