Troubled MMA fighter Mike Perry won his first Triller Triad Combat event, but it almost ended in disaster for Perry.
Perry (14-8) is usually in the news for all the wrong reasons. He’s made hateful comments, been accused of domestic violence, and has been involved in many volatile fights in public. His UFC career ended in 2021 after his contract was not renewed. Perry lost his last two fights in the UFC.
Perry signed a deal with BKFC but made his first combat athlete appearance after the UFC inside the Triangle on Saturday, November 27, as part of the Triller New Triad Combat promotion. Triad Combat is a fusion of MMA and boxing.

Perry’s opponent was 39-year-old lightweight boxer Michael Sales. Seals (25-3, 19 KOs) has a solid record but lost to talented boxers like Eleider Alvarez and Edwin Rodriguez via KO.
Perry cleared himself well in Triad Combat, but his night nearly ended early in the fourth round. He did, but he was in serious trouble.
The SEALs failed to harm Perry again in the round and let him slip off the hook. Berry was able to close the distance and stifle the attack of the seals.
The fight continued for the full seven rounds, and Perry won by split decision. His UFC career is over, but his Triad Combat career may have just begun. We’ll see if he makes his BKFC debut as well.
