NoleGameday Staff Expectations: Florida State at Boston College

The Florida State Seminoles are being shipped to Boston this weekend to face the Eagles at Chestnut Hill. The Seminoles will need to score a road win on Saturday and they will also have to do the same the following week in Gainesville for a bowl match. However, FSU needs to focus on one competition at a time. Boston College is among the program’s biggest competitors, and it’s a potential trap game.

The Eagles amassed a two-game winning streak with quarterback Phil Gorkovic returning to the squad. The veteran caller wasted time with a hand injury during mid-season as Boston College faltered to score 4-4. Regardless, coach Jeff Havley is satisfied with his team after their 41-30 victory over Georgia Tech last week. Crime is starting to tap with capable playmakers like Zay Flowers’ wide receiver, Trae Barry’s narrow end and Pat Garwo III’s run.
