Don’t be fooled
No tricks – the Kansas train has finally stopped in an amazing fashion. However, this was an all-around addition to saving my bacon after an off-season lobbying effort to get everyone to go on to win a KU season with a total of 1 or 1.5.
There is no mysterious work of the five in the group of five – to be honest, I didn’t find anything.
No, it’s time to get ready and prepare for what’s to come as Monster Thanksgiving week approaches — I’ll be doing this Wednesday before the Thursday and Friday games and then another Friday night — leading up to the conference tournaments leading up to the bowl games.
But first, a bonus pick because I can’t resist, and because I’m not messing about a move after falling in last week’s calls with Utah State directly over San Jose State (48-17 Aggies) and Nevada covering 3 against San Diego State (SDSU 23-21).
Arguably the biggest game of the weekend, I wouldn’t approve of it because I was hacked.
For nine months, I chose Utah to beat Oregon completely, and now 1) I hate giving Utah points, 2) the choice fits my version, and that’s not a good thing – forgive the gross pretense; I just hit a latte at 2 a.m. – and 3) I was yelled at by Oregonians that it wouldn’t be as obvious as Oregon losing to Utah, Oregon beats Oregon, Oregon beats Utah in the PAC12 championship and continues to beat On the good random Big Ten in the Rose Bowl.
whatever. Of course this is what will happen. Utah-3. (BTW, the biggest badass game preview image ever for that).

10. Virginia at home
Line Pet -14.5
Choose ATS Virginia
Forgive me for doing this for the second week in a row.
I loved last week at Virginia Notre Dame, but that was based on playing Cavalier QB Brennan Armstrong. As it turns out, he couldn’t go with his injured rib and the team was a disaster in Ireland’s 28-3 win that didn’t come within ten miles of the total.
I might change this immediately if news of Armstrong comes out one way or another, but for now, the streak is dependent on him not being played.
If he plays – and I suspect he’s trying everything to get out with the coastal division still up for grabs – the streak could drop quickly and it should be a 14.5 gift. However, this does not quite correspond to the total score of 66.5.
If not playing, under if you can still get 66.5. If he’s playing, walk away from the total.
CFN Week 12 Expert Picks: College
9. Cincinnati High School
Line Cincinnati -11
Choose ATS Cincinnati
I know this goes against my firm belief that Cincinnati doesn’t wipe out everyone with this schedule being ineligible for the College Football Playoff, but I don’t believe in SMU at all.
No, Cincinnati hasn’t been as good as it should have been against awful teams, but yes, the Navy is crooked, and yes, Tulsa is tough — and losing after providing a decent fight — and the team has pulled out of Tulane and USF.
SMU has been good enough over the past few years to hit the big stage, and then lose. Last year it was a 42-13 loss to Cincinnati. In 2019 it was a 54-48 loss to Memphis, and in 2018 – this team was doing well – it was a 48-20 loss to the UCF.
Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder is playing better lately than he’s got, and the lack of consistent running game shouldn’t matter in this, and…
If the 2021 Bearcat ride ends, I think it will happen either in East Carolina next week or against Houston in the AAC Championship.
CFN Week 11 Expert Picks: NFL
8. Oklahoma in Texas Tech
Line Oklahoma -10.5
Choose ATS Oklahoma
Interim Administrator Sonny Combi coaches the Texas Tech team through a difficult situation. She fought well in the loss to Kansas State, was picked up by Oklahoma, and then successfully turned the Big 12 game by defeating Iowa State. but …
Oklahoma is wonderful.
This defense is incredible – yet has not allowed more than 24 points and lost only 23 in total in his last three games – the offense is defining her stride, and despite all his Mike Gundy, Mike Gundy is really good at this. He has his team reach the peak in time.
Texas Tech University freshman QB Donovan Smith looks like a star to build around him after he tore apart Iowa. However, Iowa does not enter the backyard as Oklahoma does.
Donovan, meet the #1 rush pass and #3 defense in college football.
