Watch: Florida State coach Mike Norville speaks after training on Tuesday

Tallahassee — Florida State head coach Mike Norville spoke after training Tuesday after beating the Miami Hurricanes last Saturday, looking forward to the final on the road against Boston College. He also talked about winning and improving throughout the season and what he expects from Boston College now that quarterback Phil Yurkowicz is back from injury.

“I thought today was a really good day. I was thrilled with the energy, and I was happy with the sense of urgency our guys had from the meetings this morning until we got to the training ground. I thought it was very competitive to see some guys working to improve and progress.”

On the impact of Phil Yurkovich’s return from Boston College:

“I think it’s huge. He’s the NFL quarterback. He’s a guy who can do all the throws. He moves well. He’s a competitor. They’re unbeaten with him this season, they’ve won a lot of games over the last two years with him in the squad because he’s doing a great job at The management of the game but also his skill set is very serious.”
